The movie story is about Jayamma, a resident of Srikakulam who lives a happy life with her husband and children. Jayamma’s husband unexpectedly falls ill and Jayamma requires money for his therapy. Jayamma goes to the grama panchayat to settle her issue, but the panchayat members live engaged in resolving a separate issue. The rest of the story has about how this issue lives connected to Jayamma.

Review:

The backdrop of the movie is quite impressive. The small town setup, purity in the characters, and bonding between homes have stood established quite well. A few emotional stages between key characters will move you. Suma creates an amazing comeback to the big screen after a long time. She gets the virtue of her character right and gives a genuine performance.

One of the major drawbacks of the movie is the director takes a lot of time to enter into the main plot. Even after the story starts, there are hardly any twists or hard-hitting scenes that bind the audience. The film is devoid of any retail elements and looks quite bland. Music by MM Keeravani is just almost okay and nobody great. But his BGM was useful. The dialogues are awesome and so was the camera work showcasing the small town setup.
